OBJECTIVE:

1. To enable pupils to appreciate an ever-widening range of economic problems, whenever possible, in real, as distinct from theoretical, terms, and so promote and enrich social maturation.

2. To encourage and assist pupils in making judgments and to inculcate habits of systematic investigation.

3. To achieve economic literacy and numeracy.

4. To create an awareness, through situational involvement, of an expanding spiral of basic economic concepts.

SUPPLEMENTARY LESSON

A supplementary class will be offered to students after each topic has been taught. The design of the supplementary class is to strengthen students' understanding about economic concepts. The supplementary class will be held on Saturday (morning).
